Jumanji - Welcome To The Jungle

Jumanji - Welcome To The Jungle
Four teenage high schoolers are sent to detention where a mysterious video game stored away in a back room catches their eye. However, playing the game comes at a cost. When the four are sucked into the game, they soon realize if they have any chance at survival, they must finish playing or risk being trapped inside forever. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching 2017’s “Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle”.

∙ Bethany is first introduced while she’s trying to take a selfie. At the beginning of the scene, the coffee cup on the table next to Bethany has its handle pointing to the left, toward her head. It cuts to an overhead view and the cup’s handle is now facing upwards, parallel to her head. Bethany then reaches over and moves the handle back to the position it was originally in.

∙ Spencer meets up with Fridge outside of the Vreeke’s house. When Spencer mentions the weekend, his raincoat is buttoned all the way up. But, when Fridge decides to catch a ride, Spencer’s raincoat is buttoned down.

∙ Mr. Vreeke confronts Spencer while he’s standing outside the house. At first Mr. Vreeke is wearing a coat but no scarf. When the view changes to Bethany and her mom watching from their car, Mr. Vreeke can now be seen wearing a long red scarf with his jacket. When it cuts back to him and Spencer, Mr. Vreeke is no longer wearing the scarf.

∙ At school, when Bethany walks through the curtain at gym class, she’s holding her phone in her right hand. When the teacher reminds her that she’s late and Bethany yells “sorry”, with her arms outstretched, the phone is gone. But, when Bethany starts to run, she’s holding the phone again.

“Jumanji – Welcome To The Jungle” (2017) stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Rhys Darby, Bobby Cannavale, Nick Jonas, Tim Matheson, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner. It runs 119 minutes and is rated PG-13 for adventure action, suggestive content and some language.
